Solutions Story Tracker – A Curated Journalism Database
The Solutions Story Tracker is a curated, searchable database of rigorous reporting about responses to social problems. A product of the Solutions Journalism Network, which promotes the practice of “solutions journalism,” or, “rigorous reporting on responses to social problems,” the resource is designed to help identify emerging ideas, approaches, and patterns in social change around the world by pulling from 442 news outlets in 119 different countries. Stories are tagged and organized by date, issue/area of focus, location, publication, scope, media type, and the “success factors” (how a solution was achieved) involved in each. The Solutions Story Tracker is made possible by the Rockefeller Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Click here to learn more and search for stories.
