SocEntCity Social Enterprise Ecosystem Report
SocEntCity is a report measuring and quantifying data from social enterprise ecosystems throughout the United States. The report began in 2016, gathering information from nearly 400 social entrepreneurs across the country and distilling the entrepreneurial feedback into four “pillars” of a successful social enterprise ecosystem: funding, human capital, quality of life, and regulation and receptivity. Social impact designers and entrepreneurs can see how well their cities rank in regards to entrepreneurial support, as well as view the results of the report’s 2017 collaboration with Deloitte, which identifies practices designers can use to improve their social enterprise ecosystems. Some cities have implemented the results of SocEntCity as a baseline for measuring impact in their economic strategies. Click here to learn more and download the full report.
