Emerson Collective Immigration Innovation Incubator
Emerson Collective is currently accepting applications to its Immigration Innovation Incubator — an effort to help accelerate creative solutions in immigrant services and advocacy. Eligible proposals, innovations, and ideas should respond to the imminent need for immigrant services in the US by offering solutions that scale services to immigrants, amplify immigration policy advocacy, redesign or streamline governmental processes for applicants seeking immigration relief or other protections, build political power in immigrant communities, or help tell stories and build community. Individuals selected as Emerson Collective Immigration Innovators will spend two years developing their ideas and receive financial and non-financial resources during that time, including access to an Emerson Collective staff member, mentors, and field experts beneficial to their projects. Additionally, the entire Innovator cohort will have the opportunity to meet regularly throughout the duration of the Incubator. Emerson Collective will host a free webinar at 1 PM EST on Friday, October 6, 2017, for interested applicants to learn more about the Incubator and what makes a successful proposal. Applications are due October 20, and winners will be announced in December. Click here to read more and submit a proposal.
